Terms
of Trading for ApplianceWales.co.uk
When
placing an order with ApplianceWales please read the following terms and
conditions which apply to all transactions processed by this site and
via telephone. These terms are here to help our customers and to avoid
any misunderstanding. We reserve the right to alter/update the ‘Terms
of Trading’ when necessary. Please read the points below before
placing an order with us.
Pricing
and Payment
All
prices include VAT. We use Elavon as our secure payment processor. Customers
may purchase products using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and American
Express.
We will process your goods order as soon as payment has been received
and cleared.
Orders
When
ordering, please make sure you have selected the right product for your
appliance model number. If you are not sure about a part you need to order
please contact our office so that we can help you.
If an item is not in stock or has become obsolete we will inform you as
soon as possible with information concerning expected delivery dates,
alternative part numbers or to arrange a refund.
We aim to dispatch your order within 3 working days usually by Courier
or Royal Mail depending upon size and value of the order.
Deliveries
Deliveries
will usually need to be signed for and the Courier cannot leave parcels
without a signature. If you are not in, the Courier will leave a card
advising that you have missed a delivery and to contact your local depot
to re-arrange another delivery or collect the parcel.
It is important to check that your items/appliances have not been delivered
damaged as soon as they are received – the damaged items can be
refused and we can arrange a replacement more quickly. If for any reason
you are unable to check the parcels/appliances immediately then please
write Unchecked on the delivery note next to your signature.
Damaged
Items
If your item is delivered damaged please contact our office as soon as
possible preferably within 48 hours so that we can arrange a replacement.
Our customer service representative will give you a returns authorisation
(CAN) number to put on the package label and a Freepost address for small
parcels. Larger items such as vacuum cleaners will be collected using
our DHL courier. Please be advised that DHL are unable to give a pick
up – collection time.
Please do not post back items without the
returns authorisation (CAN) number.

Faulty
Items
Spare
parts are covered for 3 months so please report any faulty items within
this period so that we can arrange a replacement.
Appliances are covered by the manufacturers guarantee. If your appliance
appears to be faulty please try the trouble shooting section in the manufacturers
handbook before contacting us. If the appliance is still not functioning
correctly the manufacturer will usually want to send an engineer out to
inspect the appliance for either a repair or a report. If the engineer
finds the appliance faulty or not fit for purpose we can then arrange
a replacement or refund. Please be advised that the manufacturer may in
some cases charge for any faults caused by the customer.
Order
Cancellation
Under
the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have
the right to cancel your order up to seven days after the day of delivery,
without giving a reason. If you do wish to cancel your order, please notify
us as soon as possible within the said time period by post, e-mail or
fax. Refunds will be made within 14 days of the cancellation date.
The customer has the choice of returning the items at his/her own cost,
or can request a collection, in which case the cost of returning the goods
to us will be deducted from the refund. We can only arrange the return
of your items provided they have not been removed from their original
packaging, installed or used.
Information
Accuracy
Here at ApplianceWales we try our best to ensure that information about
the spares and appliances are correct. However due to the large range
of items errors can happen. If there is any doubt about a product specification
etc, please contact the manufacturer. The product photos provided may
not always be an exact match for the item you require so please ring or
e-mail us if you are not sure so that we can help. Don’t just order
a product because it looks the same as the picture.
